Starling Credit Review

Starling Credit

Know Your Options and Recover Your Funds

Do You Want to Know If Starling Credit is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

Starling Credit may sound familiar–that’s because it’s a clone of an FCA-regulated financial entity. Starling Bank is registered by the FCA. Although it has had its own well-publicized issues, Sterling Bank is a legitimate, licensed financial institution. The same isn’t true with Starling Credit, which has been flagged by financial authorities in Luxembourg and has been called out by the FCA as a clone financial company.

There Are Some Problems with Starling Credit

Clone scams are pernicious because they intend to fool the public and lead them to believe they themselves have the licensing and the reputation of another firm. This is a kind of theft on so many levels and it goes without saying they cheat their customers out of their funds. Starling Credit has a host of problems, has no license, plenty of bad reviews, and doesn’t reveal who is really behind the operation.

Red Flags that Starling Credit Could Be a Scam Broker

  • Flagged by FCA
  • Clone broker
  • No license
  • No transparency
  • False claims
  • Bad reviews

Altaia Capital SA Review

Altaia Capital SA

Know Your Options and Recover Your Funds

Do You Want to Know If Altaia Capital SA is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

Altaia Capital SA may have ended up on your short list of brokers. However, you should know that the CSSF, the financial regulator of Luxembourg has flagged this broker for operating without a license. We recommend staying away from Altaia, which is pretty easy to do since its site has been “closed for maintenance.” However, should they re-emerge, we don’t recommend giving them a try.

There Are Some Problems with Altaia Capital SA

Getting flagged by a regulator is pretty serious. It means that either the regulator has found some ways in which the broker isn’t complying with rules or there has been a large number of customer complaints about Altaia Capital SA. The fact that Altaia Capital SA‘s site is not available (at least for now) is suspicious. Perhaps it is biding its time or getting ready to spin off into another entity. Either way, these signs aren’t good.

Red Flags that Altaia Capital SA Could Be a Scam Broker

  • No license
  • Flagged by the CSSF
  • No transparency
  • Bad reviews

Starling-Bonds.com

Know Your Options and Recover Your Funds

Do You Want to Know If Starling-Bonds.com is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

Bonds may seem like more conservative investments than stocks and certainly more than cryptocurrency. However, there are many bond scams on the internet and it’s important to watch out for them. Starling Bonds has a professional-looking website and promises big returns on bonds, but watch out! This company has been flagged by the FCA.

There Are Some Problems with Starling-Bonds.com

Despite its impressive website, there is clearly a problem with Starling-Bonds–it has been flagged by the FCA. Every financial company operating in the UK must have an FCA license as an assurance that clients are being treated fairly. However, without a license, it’s hard to take Starling-Bond’s guarantee of bonds returning between 6-9% seriously. Also, its statement that no bonds have ever had a loss, without validation, is difficult to believe

Red Flags that Starling-Bonds.com Could Be a Scam Broker

  • Exaggerated claims

Cryptos-Seed Limited Review

Cryptos-Seed Limited

Know Your Options and Recover Your Funds

Do You Want to Know If CryptoSeedLimited is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

CryptoSeedLimited may have a snazzy website and promise negative balance protection, but don’t get lured into a false sense of security. The OSC, the main financial regulator in Ontario, has flagged CryptoSeedLimited for offering trading services without a license. We’d take these warnings seriously and don’t recommend trading withCryptoSeedLimited. However, we examined this broker to find out more.

There Are Some Problems with CryptoSeedLimited

The site is attractive, but the web content is barely competent. We noticed it offers WebTrader but not MetaTrader. The latter platform is more reliable and often proprietary software, especially with unlicensed brokers, can be dodgy. On the About Us page, we expected to see names, locations, and other information, but it was just a mission statement. This isn’t good enough if you want to know precisely who is managing your money.

Red Flags that CryptoSeedLimited Could Be a Scam Broker

  • No license
  • Flagged by the OSC
  • No transparency
  • Poor web content
  • Bad reviews

Binex.io Review

Binex.io

Know Your Options and Recover Your Funds

Do You Want to Know If Binex.io is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

Binex.io is touted as an up-and-coming decentralized crypto exchange that will allow buying, selling, and trading of major cryptocurrency types and is issuing its own coin, BEX. They claim all holders of BEX are entitled to 70% of daily returns on the Binex.io exchange. This sounds generous, but is it for real? It’s important to take a deep dive and find out.

There Are Some Problems with Binex.io

It should be noted from the outset that, no matter how attractive Binex.io looks, it is a risky decentralized exchange. This involves peer-to-peer trading with no regulatory oversight. That means that if you lose your money, it will be harder to seek recourse. Broker Complaint Registry experts can generate a crypto investigation report and take it to the authorities, but the process is far more complicated for unregulated entities. Also, there were multiple complaints against Binex.io.The risk doesn’t seem worthwhile.

Red Flags that Binex.io Could Be a Scam Broker

  • No license
  • Little transparency
  • Bad reviews

Kubcoins

Know Your Options and Recover Your Funds

Do You Want to Know If Kubcoins is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

Should you trade with KubCoins? Not if the OSC, the main financial regulator in Ontario is anything to go by. This regulator has flagged Kubcoins for offering trading services in Canada without a license. There are also myriad problems with this broker, but a regulator warning is enough of a reason to stay away.

There Are Some Problems with Kubcoins

The main headline contains a major typo. This may sound picky and judgmental, but it is a black mark against Kubcoins’s professionalism. Reading the copy, we can see that the content writer doesn’t have a strong command of English.

There are more serious red flags, such as its own trading platform that seems low quality. Also, the About Us is just more marketing and promotional copy. We don’t see names, addresses, or credentials. We need to know more about brokers we work with, and given the OSC’s warning, we don’t need to see any more to know Kubcoins is probably a scam.

Red Flags that Kubcoins Could Be a Scam Broker

Know Your Options and Recover Your Funds

Do You Want to Know If 24Trading, FXPoint Trading Is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

24Trading, FXPoint Trading is a mouthful and it seems this broker wanted to include as many popular keywords as they could in their name. They obviously want to attract cryptocurrency fans and people who want to make money trading forex. The term “online” of course is redundant, because there is no way of trading crypto offline. It may seem trivial to pick apart the name of the suspected broker, but a name can indicate a lot about a broker’s credibility.

There Are Some Problems with 24Trading, FXPoint Trading

More important than its name is the fact that CryptoFirstFXMiningOnline has been flagged by the FCA or the Financial Conduct authority. This means it has been suspected of misleading and manipulative practices. This can include promises of returns or not being transparent about fees or terms and conditions. We recommend staying away from CryptoFirstFXMiningOnline
