Do You Want to Know If Kopes Bank Is Legitimate or a Scam Broker?

Kopes is a non-profit financial NGO based in Greece. This has nothing to do with Kopes Bank except for a similar name. However, we often don’t feel it’s coincidental that scam brokers adopt names that are remarkably similar to legitimate financial organizations. The reason is obvious–they want to give themselves an air of legitimacy. When people do a search on their name, they’ll land on the legitimate financial company first.

There Are Some Problems with Kopes Bank

Kopes bank, however, isn’t legitimate at all. In fact, it’s been flagged as a suspected scam by two major regulators–the FCA and the FINMA from the UK and Switzerland respectively. This broker provides very little information to prospective clients. We can, however, say it isn’t licensed and regulators must have found something wrong with this broker to flag it. We found no transparency or names of people who run this brokerage. That isn’t a good sign and it looks like they are trying to hide something.

Red Flags that Kopes Bank Could Be a Scam Broker

  • No license
  • Flagged by the FINMA and the FCA
  • No transparency
  • Misleading claims
  • Bad reviews
